Following the acquisition of the activities and history of GCASP, TORNGATS Inspections Réglementaires has become a company recognized by the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) to carry out the periodic inspection of your pressure facilities in service.
Your regulatory obligations
The operator-user of pressure equipment subject to the RBQ regulations is responsible for having its equipment periodically inspected. These periodic external and internal inspections must be carried out by a person recognized by the RBQ.
TORNGATS Inspections Réglementaires is accredited to carry out these inspections and thus issue the required periodic inspection certificate if the equipment is determined to be compliant with the regulations.
To know the frequency of inspections according to the type of equipment, you can refer to Table 1 of Article 78 of the Regulation on Pressure Equipment.
