TORNGATS is currently looking for one dynamic and motivated R&D scientist to work on an ambitious and challenging project focused on developing artificial intelligence architectures applied to the non-destructive testing and materials inspection.
General Profile
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Fluency in both English and French languages
A track-record of working on R&D projects with an impact to real world.
Quick learner, able to self-start on tasks with minimal guidance.
Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and willing to learn.
Have a good business intuition.
Strong sense of teamwork.
Experience in Office products and GSuit.
Requirements
Background on data science, image processing and data visualization
Familiar with thermography and NDT in general is an asset
Extensive experience in developing and integrating artificial intelligence (deep learning machine learning) into real applications
Experience in semantic segmentation, object detection and recognition
Extensive experience in programming using Python and MATLAB
