NDT Techncian Aerospace - Procedures Development

Requirements

  • CGSB or NAS 410 certifications, ECT and/or UT level 2
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDT in aeronautics
  • Basic computer knowledge (Office) (Office) 
  • Ability to write technical documents (instructions, procedures, reports)
  • Valid class 5 driver's license

 

Assets

  • Level 3 in Eddy Current or Ultrasonic
  • Good spoken and written English

Salary:

Very competitive salary dependant on candidate certifications.

 

Schedule

Depending on customer requirements, typically Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Possibility of working on overtime in week-ends, without being an obligation.

 

Location : Mainly in the Montreal area, but full-time teleworking possible from anywhere (when feasible).

Tasks :

  • Develop and optimize NDT inspection techniques
  • Select or design calibration samples
  • Test new techniques on aircrafts
  • Prepare inspection procedure (approval made by a level 3)
